Ken Kelley

Bio - Mark WestermanKen Kelley is a mentor to life science entrepreneurs and CEO’s. He has over 30 years of experience in 36 startups in the roles of venture capitalist, founder, CEO or lead director or chairman.Ken currently serves as founder/CEO of PaxVax, Inc., a specialty vaccine company. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Halozyme Therapeutics (HALO) and is a director of Jan Medical. Previously, he was the founder/CEO at IntraBiotics Pharmaceuticals and Fluxion Biosciences. Ken participated in the startup financing of over two dozen biotech and medical device companies at K2 BioVentures, Latterell Venture Partners (LVP) and Institutional Venture Partners (IVP). He was also a consultant for McKinsey & Company and a scientist at Integrated Genetics (acquired by Genzyme). He has an MBA from Stanford and a BA in biochemical sciences from Harvard.
