Required sample volume:
- 0.5 ml (minimum 0.1 ml)
Sample collection, storage and transport:
- Blood should be collected into blood collection tube (for example, BD Vacutainer® K2EDTA Tubes or BD Vacutainer® PST™ Tubes (lithium heparin))
- 0.5 ml plasma aliquot should be transferred into a sterile 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tube labeled with specimen ID
- Samples should be stored at -80°C until shipping
- Ship on dry ice in a rigid, leak-proof container by overnight delivery
