Hepcidin-U™

Measurement of hepcidin in urine (using C-ELISA for hepcidin-25, expressed in ng/mg creatinine*). *Requires urine creatinine to be measured by Intrinsic LifeSciences or by investigator.

This is a custom assay which often requires increased sample volume and special testing protocols to be developed.

Hepcidin-NHP™

Measurement of hepcidin in serum or plasma of nonhuman primates (using C-ELISA for hepcidin-25, expressed in ng/ml plasma). This is a custom assay which may require validation using customer-provided samples.

Product Pipeline

Intrinsic LifeSciences is currently producing and characterizing monoclonal antibodies to hepcidin under SBIR Phase II funding from NIH, and is developing a MAb-based C-ELISA and sandwich ELISA (S-ELISA) for human hepcidin. These MAbs are also currently being tested for use in other enzyme immunoassay formats including Western blots, IP, and IHC.

We are also developing new hepcidin assays which support research and preclinical evaluations in nonhuman animal models.
